We at Halifax-Northampton Habitat for Humanity are fueled by a powerful mission: to put God's love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. 

Our mission is guided by the Christian principle of putting God's love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. 

We're aware of the disparities in the housing sector, and we're determined to address them in our own community. 

We understand that need doesn't always immediately equal eligibility for a home. That's why we offer learning programs for individuals who may not be immediately eligible but are willing to work towards that goal and demonstrate a commitment to overcoming obstacles. 

We firmly believe that every person needs an equal opportunity to own a home, and we are determined to create opportunities for that to happen.
